Diabetic Foot Check
If you’re diabetic it is advisable to have a diabetic foot check at least annually to detect any changes and to prevent any related foot complications developing.
A diabetic foot check will be included in your initial consultation – where your foot health, neurological/vascular status and risk level for foot complications will be assessed.
A copy of the assessment can be sent to your GP.

Biomechanical Assessment & Orthotic Therapy
A biomechanical assessment is used to assess/diagnose and treat pain in the heel, foot, ankle and lower leg. Common disorders include: plantar fasciitis; achilles tendinitis; morton’s neuroma; shin splints; metatarsalgia; bunions (hallux abducto valgus). Orthotics (insoles) tailored to your foot characteristics can be prescribed to aid your recovery.
Assessment £48 | Prescribed orthotics from £70
Fungal Nail Testing
We offer Diafactory Fungal Nail Testing (£40) which can accurately diagnose the presence of fungal nail infection (onychomycosis) in five minutes. We can then discuss the treatment options available to treat the nail infection and any fungal infection of the skin (tinea pedis) which is often what caused the fungal nails in the first place.
Verrucae Treatments
A variety of courses of treatment are available to treat verrucae, including silver nitrate, Verrutop and cryotherapy. Patients are assessed as to the suitability of treatment and advice given.
